The Brief

One publication.
Two languages.

Producing a bilingual publication is considerably more complex than a standard magazine. Two language editions must coexist within a single design system — each with its own typographic requirements, reading direction and editorial content — while the publication as a whole maintains a consistent, professional standard throughout.

The client needed a reliable creative partner to manage the full production cycle, issue after issue — from content coordination and layout through to print management and distribution. Not a one-off project, but an ongoing commitment to quality every two months.

The Approach

Consistent quality,
every issue.

The English edition was designed and laid out in full — cover, editorial spreads, photography placement and typographic hierarchy — creating a publication that could sit alongside any professional national magazine.

Alongside this, artwork management and pre-press preparation for the Urdu edition was handled to the same standard, ensuring both language versions were print-ready and visually coherent before going to press.

The challenge of a recurring publication is not producing the first issue well — it's maintaining that standard consistently. Every bi-monthly cycle was managed with the same level of care as the first, with editorial deadlines, supplier liaison and distribution handled as a complete package.
